Crimson Patch & Banded Peacock Butterflies
These pictures were taken on November 4th, 2008 at the NABA Butterfly Park, Mission Tx. The top picture shows the Crimson Patch which I was photographing when a Banded Peacock happened to fly past just as I snapped the shutter.

Texas Wasp Moth
This picture was taken on November 11th, 2008 at the NABA Butterfly Park, Mission Tx. It's hard to believe that this guy is really a Moth and not a Wasp, but it is. The intent of this Moth is to reduce the number of predators that it has and therefore has disguised itself as a Wasp. It is also out during the day, unlike most Moths that are nocturnal.

Brown & Dorantes Longtail butterflies
These pictures were taken on November 11 & 12th, 2008 at the NABA Butterfly Park, Mission, Tx.
The middle picture is a Dorantes Longtail whereas the other two pictures are Brown Longtails. Thanks to Josh Rose for correcting me. I thought they were all Brown Longtails.
