These pictures were taken on February 19th & 25th at the Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park, Mission, Texas. Kiskadee's are classified as one of the larger members of the Tyrant Flycatcher family and occur from Southern Texas through Mexico to Central and South America.
Hey Fred, I like the in-flight picture of the Kiskadee. Not so sure I like the spiders pics!

all of the kiskadee pics are great,Fred. This bird is worth watching.
ReplyDeleteFred, that Kis' mid-air is to die for! Truly a fab shot! So many new goodies! *I do echo Kathy about your 'arachni-photia'!* I'd ask how a person discerns that a particular strain of tarantula makes a good PET, but I'm afraid you just might tell me!
ReplyDeleteAre you grading on a curve here and relying on, say, scorpions and piranha to boost its relative appeal? Or do view it the same way others judge pitbulls: the one that doesn't kill you is 'the good pet.' : ) Cheers from SoFL!
