These pictures were taken on March 5th, 2009 at the Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park, Mission Texas. I've posted many pictures of these guys in the past but they are such a pretty bird that another couple shots of them is always nice.

I always love to see Green Jays,
a zoological misnomer if ever there was one!
The top shot is remarkable for showing the underside detail
of a beautiful tail.
The feathering detail throughout
is so beautifully captured!
